I recently visited Tembea Restaurant, for a solo date and also try out their menu since I live close by. First thing I noticed is the calm and really relaxing ambiance the services I got there, top notch, food and drinks, really good...and I mean it not gate keeping this oneespecially when it comes to getting value for your money. I highly recommend the place I'll rate it a 9/10

This stunning hidden gem located in the heart of Kitisuru caught me by surprise when I stepped into it. The quiet serene environment with the joyous laughter of children playing about and the minimal traffic noise makes it a perfect place to take yourself, your loved one or your family. When you walk in, the decor is modern yet simple. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the entrance as I was in a rush to eat. Upon entering the restaurant, we were shown to our table where we were welcomed with a nice bowl of mushroom soup with toasted bread as they continued to set up the buffet table. The waiter was nice enough to explain the menu and the service he provided was tip worthy. After 20 minutes the buffet table wa up and disappointingly so the food selection was little. But what they lacked in selection made up with quality and quantity as the food was really really good. Perfectly seasoned food which will make you go for seconds. During buffets the only drink that was unlimited was the freshly squeezed juice but other drinks were charged separately. Makes sense. Pros: - ample parking - child friendly spaces - large diverse menu - pocket friendly prices - welcoming and attentive staff - quality over quantity - very quiet and serene environment Cons - will require private transport to reach there. - buffet selection needs to increase a bit. - meat types also to increase a bit. In summary: I will most definitely go back if the opportunity allows. Perhaps with someone's daughter or solo. It will make a perfect location for a first date to those who wish to go. Food was good but not great the lamb shank tasted like it was not fresh 7/10 for the food..the portions were also huge 10/10 for portion size..the prices were also extremely friendly 9/10 for the pricing...service was excellent 9/10 ... ambience 9/10 .. cleanliness can be improved we found a hair on the floor as we were headed to the restaurant
